SLEIGH BELLS

I stumbled across Sleigh Bells via the internet a few months ago. I have since developed a pretty big crush on the singer, Alexis Krauss. First of all, I completely relate to her wardrobe (or performance wardrobe) comprised of mostly American Apparel clothes. I also seriously sweat her tattoos and want to see them up close and personal. Simply put: she's hot. And, apart from girlcrushing, I really like Sleigh Bells's music. It's like the modern, Brooklyn version of Atari Teenage Riot. The louder and more distorted, the better.

They should be called Slay Bells because they certainly know how to slay sound. I can't wait until they put out a full-length album, my speakers are about to get BLOWN. Let's not even talk about what happens when I see them live...

TIME'S UP

It's the principal of it, I get a rush when I bust
Some dope lines oral, that maybe somebody'll quote
That's what I consider real, in this field of music
Instead of puttin brain cells to work they abuse it
Non-conceptual, non-exceptional
Everybody's either crime-related or sexual
I'm here to make a difference, besides all the riffin
The traps are not stickin, rappers stop flippin
For those who pose lyrical but really ain't true I feel
"Their time's limited, hard knocks too"

SHOPLIFTERS OF THE WORLD, UNITE AND TAKEOVER!

"Tried living in the real world instead of a shell, but before I began... I was bored before I even began."

This quote speaks so much to how I feel towards modern day society and current pop culture. Viva Morrissey.
