All apologies...

I love blogger, but I have been OBSESSED with my tumblr account. Everytime I post a batch of photos, there is a theme and then I wrap it all up with an encompassing quote at the top of each set. The last one is a set of stills from Antoine Doinel films. Antoine Doinel is a fictional character that we get to see grow up through the lens of François Truffaut.

I've posted a series of photos of stills of Anna Karina from Jean-Luc Godard films, Scott Cambpell projects, film scenes of heroin use (& overdose), dead skateboarders, dead rappers, Serge & Jane, amongst others.

If you know me, you know a couple of things. One is that I love French fries and will eat them with unhealthy amounts of mayo, another is that my favorite rapper, HAND DOWN, ever, was Big L.




Saturday, May 30th, marked what would have been Big L's 35th birthday. DJ Soul made this tribute mix. I have heard almost all of Big L's freestyles, etc., but this mix comes correct with some rare gems.
