Zaha Hadid, one of my favorite architects, designed the container for
Chanel Mobile Art, which has recently re-located to New York! Mr. Lagerfield + friends are paying homage to the quintessential quilted Chanel bag, you know, the one that dozens of people sport throughout the Manhattan grid (real and fake, alike).

It's now open to the public at Rumsey Playfiend in Central Park. Admission is free.

You have no idea how much I love all things Chanel. I am unable to afford anything but make-up (and even that is a stretch) but I have cultivated an obsession since I was a child. Thanks for posting about this!
i read about this somewhere --- maybe i'll check it out!
