Being that I just returned from a long weekend in Madrid, it's only appropriate I put y'all onto El día de la bestia, directed by Álex de la Iglesia (1995).

It's so español and so good, from the soundtrack to the actors to the locations. Everything about this movie is incredible. Mírala, es la hostia (en plan de broma).

I recently found out that my ancestry is predominantly Spanish and German. I spent my entire life thinking I was 98% Russian. Apparently, my family lived in Germany and were land owners in Russia.
