I had no idea that Natalie Portman and Devendra Banhart are dating until today. I once met Natalie Portman at a synagogue in Madrid; we were both there observing Yom Kippur. She was there with Gael Garcia Bernal and I almost died when I saw him standing there, in the back of the room, in all his beautiful, Mexican glory. I had a conversation with him (en español, que sí), and he followed me up stairs which means he got a very good look at my assets.
Celebrity sightings are generally boring, but this was a good one. Thank god for Judaism (pun intended).
